FTP Sync is ideal for use in any application that requires file synchronization, as it does not require any user input. The FTP Sync component is an ActiveX Component, that provides an interface to synchronize folders and files between a client and a server running an FTP Service. It is good for both client-side applications, and embedding in server-side components and scripts. FTP Sync can be used in various applications. With FTP Sync enabled client applications, you can easily deploy new files to every client application simply by uploading updated files to the FTP server. The FTP Sync component will determine which files have been updated, and will automatically download the new version of the files, thereby deploying the changes to every client. By only transferring the files that have been updated, a large amount of bandwidth is saved, and it can all be done automatically without requiring any user intervention.
