Once a customer has purchased a digital product from your site, you, as admin, can create them an account where they can then download the purchased product.
The added twist is, each downloadable file can be set a limit to how many times it can be downloaded by a user!
Once the download limit has been reached the file will no longer be available to the user.
The link will disapear & they will have to purchase the product again in order to download it!
DLM v3 now allows users to register! Great for sites who offer free download.
Once the user has logged in they will be taken to their own unique download area.
They will have access to downloadable files that only admin can set up!
Each file can be limited to how many times it can be downloaded, by each user.
You, as admin, can give each user, diffrent files to access & download.
Once their download limit reaches '0' they can no longer download the file.
When the limit has been reached, the link will disappear from view.
The script encrypts the location of the downloadable file/s.
Only admin knows where the file/s are stored on the server.
Test Case:
Let say you had a game for sale on your site , his could be either an .exe file or .zip.
A customer buys your game and sends you payment through Paypal or other methods.
Once you have received payment you can then create them an account through the admin control panel or if they are registered already, add the file to their account.
When you have created their account & added the purchased game, You can then send the customer their username & password by email from the admin control panel.
The customer can now login with the username & password supplied to download their purchased product!
